Polyamide raw materials for the production of Flexible Packaging
Polyamide is generally used for the production of flexible packaging in order to achieve weight reduction and to preserve product freshness. It extends the shelf life by preventing UV-light, oxygen and moisture affecting the quality and the taste of the food. Polyamide also offers an excellent aroma barrier, thus preventing environmental odors and food odors from intermingling. Compared to other types of packaging, flexible packaging containing polyamide offers a number of sustainability advantages throughout the entire life cycle of the packaged product.
Combining high-performance polyamides
We supply Grilon F, Grilon C, Grilon BM, Grilon MB and Grivory G- and HB- grades. By combining our polyamides (e.g. Grilon F grades with Grilon C, BM, and MB grades and/or Grivory G grades), even in the same layer, the properties of the final film can be enhanced significantly.
Whether you produce a cast or a blown film for either high or low shrink, ACES can supply you with a variety of polymers meeting your packaging requirements. We have polyamides for flexible packaging for fresh and processed meat, fish, cheese, vegetables, cereals, part baked bread etc. Our raw materials fulfil the strict food safety regulations demanded by health authorities and we have all corresponding approvals.
We at ACES Pros in Plastics are able to assist our customers in making the best possible choice for their specific packaging application needs.
